Motorcyclist killed after colliding with parked car in Dublin

The man was brought to St Vincent’s Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time after.

A MALE MOTORCYCLIST has been killed following a fatal collision in Blackrock, County Dublin.

The 36-year-old male was seriously injured when his motorcycle struck a parked car on Carysfort Avenue, Blackrock, at approximately 4.40pm.

He was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent’s University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Garda forensic collision investigators are continuing to examine the scene and traffic diversions are in place. The coroner has been notified.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
