A lot of Fine Gael TDs were 'very nervous' before Christmas. So, how are they now?

Brian Hayes has been speaking to TheJournal.ie about his party’s election prospects.

FINE GAEL MEP Brian Hayes says he does not sense the same level of nervousness amongst party colleagues as he did before Christmas.

In an interview with TheJournal.ie, the former junior minister said that a lot of mistakes were made by the government last year but that things have calmed down considerably since the beginning of 2015

Hayes, who is chair of Fine Gael’s candidate selection committee for the next election, spoke about nerves among colleagues and how the party is “trying to save as many seats as we can”:
