You wait ages for a new Ford Fiesta... then four come along at once

More tech. more refinement and more models for the new Fiesta line-up.

THE NEXT GENERATION Ford Fiesta has been unveiled in not one but four production variants – an upscale Vignale version, a sporty ST-Line, and a Titanium model and Active crossover – all available with three or five doors.

The Vignale model offers unique 18-inch alloys wheel designs, exclusive exterior detailing and colours, and hexagonal-quilted, tuxedo-stitched leather seats.

The ST-Line model offers sports suspension and sporty exterior styling including unique alloy wheels, grille, front and rear bumper and side-skirt designs and the interior gets sports seats, alloy pedals and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.

The Active model is the first Fiesta crossover model and it offers SUV-inspired styling that includes a raised ride-height, roof bars and additional cladding as well as hatchback practicality.

The Fiesta Titanium will be the highest-specced model.

The ergonomic interior offers an eight‑inch floating high-definition touchscreen and Ford’s SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system and the new Fiesta will be the first Ford to have a premium B&O PLAY Sound System.

The expanded Fiesta range will offer more personalisation options to customers than ever before and optional extras such as an openable panoramic glass roof.

Ford is calling the next-gen Fiesta the world’s most technologically advanced small car and it will be the first Ford with Pedestrian Detection that can help prevent collisions at night and Active Park Assist with brake interventions to prevent low-speed bumps when parking hands-free.

The new Fiesta also offers more refinement with road noise reduced by 7 per cent, cornering grip improved by 10 per cent and braking distances by 8 per cent. There is also new suspension and Electronic Torque Vectoring Control.
