There are 400 new jobs coming to Dundrum

A CAR RENTAL marketplace company has announced 400 new jobs at its headquarters in Dundrum this afternoon.

CarTrawler has said it will create 400 new positions over the next three years at its headquarters in south Dublin.

The company has already started to fill 200 of the positions in senior roles including business development, customer operations, data science, finance and engineering.

CarTrawler provides aviation, travel, hospitality, leisure and consumer companies with connections to over 1,200 car rental agents in over 30,000 airports and cities across 174 different countries.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Jobs Minister Richard Bruton are at today’s announcement along with junior jobs minister Ged Nash.

Kenny has hailed the company as “a great example of an indigenous Irish company competing and succeeding in the global market”.

CarTrawler is holding an open day on Saturday, 18 October and has advised those interested in the jobs to email them to book their place.
