New York cops find fully-loaded Glock hidden in a fake Bible

Nice try.

NEW YORK CITY police say they found a loaded gun inside a hollowed-out box made to look like a copy of the Bible, during a traffic stop this week.

Officers from the 70th Precinct made the discovery on Monday in East Flatbush in Brooklyn, after pulling over a car with tinted windows.

Police say they searched the car after smelling marijuana, and also found an open alcohol container and a knife.

During the search, they came across what looked like a leather-bound King James Bible.

On further inspection, it was revealed to be a hollow box with a lock, containing a loaded Glock 17 semi-automatic pistol, as well as 10 bullets and a magazine.

The driver and two passengers were charged with weapon and marijuana possession, according to the New York Post.
