Dublin bus ablaze at Harold's Cross this lunchtime

No passengers were injured in the incident.

A DUBLIN BUS was up in flames this lunchtime at Harold’s Cross.

Smoke was seen billowing from the back of the bus this afternoon as onlookers took photos at the scene.

A spokesperson for the Dublin Bus confirmed to TheJournal.ie that an out of service bus went on fire and the Dublin Fire Brigade were called to the scene.

The fire was extinguished a short time ago.

Dublin Bus said no passengers were on board the bus at the time and there were no injuries.

The driver of the bus is also said to be unharmed.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
