Oh fliuch: The weather outlook is not good for the weekend

Rain rain rain rain rain rain and a bit of wind too.

WITH THE BODY and Soul festival in Westmeath and Westlife playing farewell concerts in Dublin this weekend make sure you bring your umbrella because it’s going to be a wet one.

There will be scattered showers across the country today but it will be mainly dry overnight and become less windy, according to Met Éireann.

Tomorrow will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain becoming more persistent as the day goes on. Sunday will be a bright and fresh day but there will be some heavy showers especially over the north of the country.

The morning will be quite breezy but winds will ease throughout the day and temperatures will reach as hugh as 18 degrees celsius in some parts of the country.

For those heading to the Body and Soul Festival at Ballinlough Castle in Westmeath here is how the weather is looking for the weekend and there is a fair bit of rain involved:
