One man arrested in David Whyte murder inquiry

Whyte was found stabbed to death 10km from his Phibsboro, Dublin, home in September 2008.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE murder of David Whyte, 35, in Palmerstown, Co Dublin, on 26 September 2008 have arrested a 33-year-old man.

Whyte, who lived in Phibsboro, was found stabbed to death 10km away from his home, near an old graveyard in Palmerstown.

The man was arrested in Co Clare yesterday and taken to Ballyfermot Garda Station.

He is expected to appear in court tomorrow morning charged in connection with the murder.
