He is due to appear in court today.

Updated: 8:15am

POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland have charged a 46-year-old man with fraud by false representation and harassment.

The man was arrested in the Northampton area in England on Wednesday as part of a PSNI investigation into online blackmail.

He was brought to Northern Ireland where he was questioned at a police station in Belfast.

Police said the investigation began after a woman made a complaint about online exploitation.

The man is due to appear at Dungannon Magistrates Court later this morning.

The charges are being reviewed by Northern Ireland’s Public Prosecution Service.

It is getting more and more common though , unless you’ve gone through it yourself you have no idea the effect it has on a person

Theresa do you mean you tried to report an incident of online blackmail of harassment and they wiped your hard drive by accident so there was no evidence to prosecute? Sounds like you were the offender from your post!
