Irish woman, 25, found dead in bed in Singapore

AN IRISH 25-year-old woman has been found dead in Singapore.

Orla Daly originally from Clontarf, Dublin was living and working in Queenstown, Singapore.

The Dubliner was found dead in bed by a friend.

The Department of Foreign Affairs told TheJournal.ie that they are providing consular assistance to the 25-year-old’s parents who are believed to have flown over to Singapore to bring her body home.

Orla Daly tweeting just three months ago about how much she loved Singapore.

The cause of her death remains unclear at this time.

A number of friends have posted tributes to Orla online. One friend said she will “always remember her smile”, while another posted, “Such a sad day. A lovely girl who never spoke a bad word about anyone. We’ll be here for you when you get home sweetheart.”
