Body of Peaches Geldof released to family for funeral

The 25-year-old died suddenly at home on Monday.

THE BODY OF the late Peaches Geldof has been released to her family, it is being reported.

A day after the post-mortem on Geldof, who passed away aged just 25, a spokesman for North West Kent coroner Roger Hatch said that her body has been released to the family for funeral arrangements to be made, according to the BBC.

The post-mortem on the mother-of-two was inconclusive, police said yesterday.

Toxicology tests will now be conducted in an attempt to find a cause of death.

Peaches, the daughter of Bob Geldof, died at her home near Wrotham in Kent, south-east England, on Monday afternoon.

Police described her death as “unexplained and sudden” but not suspicious.
