Pedestrian killed by car in Dublin city centre

The man was fatally struck at the junction of Amiens Street and Talbot street in the early hours of this morning.

A MAN HAS died after being hit by a car in the early hours of this morning in Dublin city centre.

The 56-year-old pedestrian was struck by the vehicle near the junction of Amiens Street and Talbot Street at 1.15am according to gardaí.

Amiens street has reopened and diversions have been lifted in both directions around Connolly Station.
