Giant Murmuration of Starlings in Galway Pic of the Day

Gorgeous.

PHOTOGRAPHER CONOR LEDWITH spotted this stunning murmuration of starlings in Galway at sunset last night.

If you look closely, you can also see Venus appearing to shine brightly on the right hand side of the pic.

Conor said seeing the birds was “a kind of David Attenborough moment”.

“It was a really special event watch them, especially when they went over my head and the noise of thousands of beating wings,” he said. “Definitely one of nature’s wonders”.

Gorgeous.
