In photos: The devastation of today's attacks in Brussels

At least 34 people were killed in two explosions.

AT LEAST 34 people were killed in terrorist attacks in Brussels today.

Some 14 people were killed and 81 injured in an explosion at Brussels Airport. Another 20 people are believed to have been killed in a second explosion at Maalbeek Metro station and 55 more wounded.

Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attacks, as Belgium’s terror alert remains at its highest level.

Police are still searching for those responsible.

People from Belgium and around the world are rallying in a show of solidarity for the victims and their families.
