Teens playing Pokémon Go targeted in armed robbery in London park

The teenagers were playing at Whittington Park when they were approached by three men.

THREE TEENAGERS PLAYING Pokémon Go were the victims of an armed robbery in a London park.

The teenagers, aged 15, 16 and 18 were playing at Whittington Park when they were approached by three men.

One of the men pointed a handgun towards the victims and demanded they hand over their phones. The three victims handed them over and left the scene.

Around 30 minutes earlier, a 24-year-old was also threatened at gunpoint by three men with their faces covered.

A handgun was pressed into the victim’s stomach and he was told to turn around and walk away after handing over his personal possessions.

The incidents happened on Tuesday night at around 10pm and 10.30pm.
