Michael Noonan has expressed fears that the public could be bored of the Fiscal Compact campaigns before polling day on May 31. Laura Hutton/Photocall Ireland

Poll: Are you happy with the quality of the referendum campaigns?

Declan Ganley’s back in the fray, as Michael Noonan fears election fatigue. How do you feel so far?

LIBERTAS FOUNDER Declan Ganley has this morning confirmed he will join the No side seeking the rejection of the Fiscal Compact in the referendum in 18 days’ time.

Ganley says Ireland should reject the deal until it is given a better deal in reforming its banking debts, and believes asking taxpayers to cover bankers’ losses is a “gross injustice” and an “abrogation of all of the rules of capitalism”.

Separately today, finance minister Michael Noonan has expressed fears that voters might lose interest in the treaty before polling day on May 31, telling the Sunday Independent he fears that single-issue polls like this one can cause voters to become bored.

While an opinion poll today shows the Yes side extending its lead ahead of the vote – and with opposition parties still complaining about alleged bias in the government’s stabilitytreaty.ie information site – we thought we’d ask today whether you’re happy with campaigning so far.

Are you happy with the quality of the referendum campaigns?

Poll Results:

No (927)
Yes (138)
