IT’S DECEMBER FIRST. We’re in between ‘Black Friday’ and ‘Cyber Monday’ — and many retailers would have you believe the fact that you haven’t even started thinking about tackling that Christmas gift list yet is a sign of shocking indolence.

Bought a VTech touchpad for my daughter for 65 sterling delivered free from Amazon.co.uk as the same one was 129.99 euro in Argos & on ‘special offer’ in Tesco for 109.99 euro. No brainer really price wise. My preference would be to shop local but when the price difference is that much……

Why do people bemoan Arthurs Day, for example, as a corporate invention. And yet start talking about all the money they will fork out in November? Christmas runs from Dec 25th to Jan 6th. Anything else is a corporate invention in my opinion.
Next year I’ll have it all done by October….. Yep I’ve been telling myself that every year!! And yet always running around a few days before Xmas trying to grab presents. I’ll learn someday!!
