UK POLITICIANS ARE to consider the introduction of a 25p ‘latte levy’ on disposable coffee cups to cut down on waste.

Similar measures have been proposed in Ireland with the Green Party proposing that single-use coffee cups should be banned outright to encourage people to use reusable cups.
