Poll: Would you ever get in a car with a driver who'd had a drink?

A crackdown on drink-driving is on the cards as figures show more than half of cases do not end in conviction.

FIGURES REPORTED THIS week showed less than half of drink-driving cases in Ireland led to convictions.

This morning The Irish Times reports the government is planning a massive overhaul of road traffic laws to include a crackdown on drivers who get behind the wheel after consuming alcohol.

We want to know: Would you ever get in a car with a driver after they’d drunk alcohol?
