Poll: Should e-cigarettes be banned in all workplaces?

Irish Rail have banned them on their trains, should others follow suit?

IRISH RAIL HAVE taken the decision to ban e-cigarettes on all train services and the DART.

There is no evidence that the devices cause any harm to anybody standing close to them, but Irish Rail say that they’ve had complaints from passengers about the smell they create.

E-cigarettes are marketed as a way to help people stop smoking but they do contain nicotine and were recently banned for under-18s. But should Irish Rail’s ban be extended elsewhere?

Today’s poll: Should e-cigarettes be banned in all workplaces?

Poll Results:

No, they help smokers quit and don't do harm to others. (4650)
Don't know. (2143)
Yes, it's unpleasant to be around them. (1625)
