Poll: Would you back a coalition between Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil?

It’s not an unlikely prospect.

THEY SPENT MUCH of the campaign ruling out a post-election agreement, but Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil may be left with no option but to do business if the exit polls are anything to go by.

Early signs show the outgoing government is likely to lose its majority by a significant margin, with the two old civil war rivals now looking to be the most conceivable coalition partners once the dust settles.

As ballot boxes are opened around the country, we want to know how you feel about the potential arrangement.

This morning’s poll: Would you support a coalition between Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil?

Poll Results:

No (14712)
Yes (8783)
Unsure (2754)
