Poll: What would you do if you found a money-filled wallet?

€100, in a wallet, on the street. What’s your next move?

TV3′S MIDWEEK PROGRAMME left 10 wallets with money inside them on various streets around Dublin, seven were returned.

But two of those seven were empty, suggesting either someone got to them first or the Good Samaritan wasn’t so good.

So let’s do our own unscientific experiment. Imagine if you found a wallet with €100 inside as well as the personal details of the owner, what would you do?

Today’s poll, What would you do if you found a money-filled wallet?

Poll Results:

Make your own efforts to find the owner. (3330)
Keep the money. (3266)
Give it to the gardai. (1068)
Leave it there for someone else to deal with. (680)
