Poll: Should Irish politicians come back to debate the Israel-Gaza crisis?

They’re officially off for the summer but there have been calls for both the Dáil and the Seanad to hold debates on the topic.

THE GOVERNMENT HAS rejected calls for the Dáil to be reconvened for a debate on the ongoing conflict along the Gaza Strip.

Yesterday, however, Fianna Fáil said it was confident that it could force the Seanad back into session with the support of independents so a debate could be held there on this issue as well as the volatile situation in Ukraine.

We want to know what you think: Should our politicians put their holidays on hold to debate the Israel-Gaza crisis?

Poll Results:

Yes, I want to hear their views on it (3159)
No, I don't see what it would achieve (2279)
I'm not sure (123)
