Poll: Will you support Ireland's junior doctors as they strike?

The NCHDs are demanding legal working hours and more sleep.

ABOUT 1,000 Non-Consultant Hospital Doctors (NCHDs) will go on strike on 25 September, protesting against their illegal working hours.

The junior doctors are demanding an immediate end to shifts that last longer than 24 hours and swifter movement to bring their hours in line with a European directive that caps the working week at 48 hours.

They say that they currently work up to 100 hours per week. The IMO has promised the strike will not impact emergency services.

Today, we ask: Will you support Ireland’s junior doctors as they strike?

Poll Results:

Yes (3124)
No (3036)
