Poll: Will you eat less processed meat from now on?

The FSAI says it’s all about moderation, but has the research worried you?

A REPORT FROM the WHO’s cancer research agency has found eating processed meats like sausages, ham, bacon and salamis causes cancer.

The research found the risk of colorectal cancer was higher in people who consume large amounts of these meats. This morning the Food Safety Authority of Ireland said the research is not cause for panic – it’s all about moderation.

But we want to know: Will you eat less processed meat from now on?

Poll Results:

Yes, I'll cut down (7551)
No way, hand me that rasher sandwich (7387)
I'm not sure (1748)
