Poll: Should Ireland legalise paying for sex?

Independent TD Mick Wallace has said he believes prostitution – like drugs – should be legalised for better regulation.

INDEPENDENT WEXFORD TD Mick Wallace has argued for the legalisation of prostitution – saying he believes the welfare of women working in the sex trade would be significantly improved if the trade was not forced underground.

What do you think – would legalising prostitution mean that the demand for sex could be properly regulated?

Or would it be giving an official government stamp on a profession that victimises many women who have no other way of earning a living?

Should Ireland legalise paying for sex?
