Poll: How would you have voted on the smoking ban?

As the Swiss go to the polls today to vote on their smoking ban, we ask: How would you have voted on our ban?

SWISS VOTERS GO to the polls today to vote on a proposal to completely ban smoking in enclosed public places.

Hotels, restaurants and bars in Switzerland are currently allowed to have separate rooms for smokers but critics say this is harmful to the health of staff working in them.

The latest poll shows voters were divided ahead of the vote as 52 per cent of those questioned opposed the new initiative against 41 per cent in favour and 7 per cent undecided.

Ireland’s citizens were not given a vote on the smoking ban that was introduced in 2004 so we want to know: How would you have voted?

Poll Results:

No (2597)
Yes (1847)
I don't know (468)
