Poll: Do you spend more money in good weather?

Ireland is currently in the middle of a heatwave – but are you spending more money than you usually would?

BARBECUES, SUNGLASSES, SALADS… summer time often means that people end up spending more money than they expect to.

It’s not an issue that often affects Ireland but right now the country is in the middle of a midsummer heatwave. The days are longer, people are going on holidays, and in a bit to make sure that we’re making the most of the fleeting good weather, people are more likely to go out and do things rather than staying at home.

At the same time, people are more likely to spend time outside on free activities rather than going to the cinema or the pub, for example, which may end up saving them some cash.

So today we’re asking: Do you spend more money in good weather?

Poll Results:

No (2080)
Yes (1228)
I'm not sure (924)
