Poll: What's a fair price to pay for water each year?

Reports suggest the average bill will be less than €300 – do you think that’s fair?

REPORTS THIS MORNING suggest the standing charge for water will be less than €50 and householders will face an average yearly bill of less than €300.

There had been speculation earlier in the week that the standing charge alone could be as much as €100, before a drop of water is even used, but the government dismissed this and Cabinet will discuss the charge at its meeting today.

So, we want to know: What do you think is a fair price to pay for water each year?

Poll Results:

Nothing (3678)
100 to 200 euro (2457)
200 to 300 euro (572)
More than 400 euro (133)
300 to 400 euro (95)
