Man arrested after alleged daylight stabbing in Dublin city-centre

Gardaí are investigating the incident.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED a man after another man was believed to have been stabbed in the hand in Dublin city centre today.

The incident occurred just after 5pm. The victim received an injury to his hand while on the boardwalk at  Bachelor’s Walk in the capital, just yards from O’Connell St.

Gardaí are still at the scene. The Armed Support Unit also attended the scene, but the incident was not “major”, sources said.
