Post-mortem due on unidentified body found in Dublin canal

It is believed to be the body of a man in his 20s or 30s, gardaí said today.

GARDAÍ HAVE SAID a post-mortem is due to take place on the body of a man found in the canal at Dorset Street in Dublin yesterday.

The body was discovered at 10.40am yesterday and was taken from the water. It is believed to be the body of a man in his 20s or 30s but no positive identification has been made yet.

His body was taken to Dublin City Morgue, where a post-mortem will take place to identify cause of death.
