Power outage affects ATMs, businesses in Grafton Street area

About 250 businesses and surrounding ATMs were impacted by the fault.

ESB NETWORKS HAS restored power to 250 businesses in the Grafton Street area after an earlier outage.

Both Grafton Street and South King Street were without power for about one hour.

The problem was caused by damage to an underground cable.

ATMs in the area were not working as a result and many shops on the thoroughfare also shut their doors temporarily.
