450 social houses to be built around the country

Roscommon town, Clonakilty, Waterford and Galway are some of the eight areas chosen for 450 new social houses to be built in the next three to four years in a plan worth €100 million which was announced by the Department of the Environment this week.

Longford will have a €223 million Center Parcs development soon

A €223 million Center Parcs development in Longford has been given the go-ahead from An Bord Pleanála with some revised conditions. It will mean a 395 acre holiday village and bring approximately 1,000 jobs to the area.
