Property tax freeze

The government is hoping to pass legislation soon that would freeze property tax until 2019. The freeze, confirmed in last month’s Budget, means homeowners “will not be faced with increases in their LPT in 2017 as a result of increased property values,” says a government spokesperson.

House prices outside Dublin are on the rise
