PSNI working with Gardai in bomb hoax investigation

Gardaí are now working with the PSNI in their investigation into the bomb hoaxes which caused evacuations in four different locations on Saturday night.

GARDA SOURCES HAVE told TheJournal.ie that they are working with the PSNI in their investigation into the four bomb hoaxes that took place on Saturday night.

They also confirmed that it was a hotel and not a nightclub in Tullamore, Co Offaly which received one of the bomb threats.

The hotel was believed to have been holding a function at the time of the hoax.

The three other locations, all of which were nightclubs, were in Galway city, Ballinasloe, Co Galway, and Claremorris, Co Mayo.
