PSNI investigating 'paramilitary style shooting'

A 28-year-old man received a gunshot wound to the leg.

DETECTIVES IN LISBURN are investigating what they describe as a paramilitary-style shooting in Dunmurry last night.

The PSNI has issued an appeal for information about the incident which occurred in Summerhill Mews just before 9pm.

A 28-year-old man received a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police have asked anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the are to contact them on 0845 600 8000 or on the confidential line at 0800 555 111.
