Lithuanian man wanted for murder in his native country arrested in Armagh

The man is wanted on a European Arrest Warrant in relation to a murder in 2005

PSNI DETECTIVES HAVE arrested a 37-year-old Lithuanian man wanted in connection with a murder in his native country.

The man is wanted on a European Arrest Warrant by PSNI in relation to the murder of a man in Lithuania in 2005.

He was arrested after an operation at a house in Causanagh Road, Loughgall, this morning.

The appeal for information to locate and apprehend the suspect was featured nationally in the media.

He has been taken to Lurgan police station to allow the EAW to be processed.
