Gardaí seized more puppies at Dublin Port last night

The majority of the puppies are Labrador/Collie cross and are just 10 weeks old.

GARDAÍ AND PORT Security have seized a number of puppies and dogs at Dublin Port.

The animals were being exported without a Pet Passport and were seized at the port last night. The majority of the puppies are Labrador/Collie cross and are just 10 weeks old.

All of the animals are now in the care of the DSPCA which said they will be available for adoption within the next week.

This is the fourth such seizure this year and brings the total number of puppies seized to over 500 in the last 18 months.

The DPSCA said it continues to be vigilent around the illegal export of puppies and dogs.
