Take a break and try to figure out this confusing puzzle

Can you solve it?

HERE’S A RIDDLE for you: 100 logicians have been kept imprisoned on a shark-surrounded island since birth.

They know that any green-eyed prisoner can leave the island, but they’ve also been warned that anyone without green eyes who tries to escape will be thrown into a volcano.

All of the prisoners, as it turns out, have green eyes.

None of them are aware of this, though, because there are no mirrors on the island and the dictator holding them captive has banned them from talking to one another.

You’ve been allowed onto the island to speak to the logicians, but you’re forbidden from passing on any new information.

What can you say to help free them? This TED-Ed video talks us through the answer.
