Woman faces two charges of attempted murder over violent home raid

Two women were stabbed in a home attack in the early hours of Monday.

A 28-YEAR-OLD woman faces charges of aggravated burglary, inflicting grievous bodily harm and two counts of attempted murder in connection with a home raid in Belfast early on Monday.

Two women were stabbed in the attack at Cloona Manor in the west of the city. It happened at around 2am.

Aged in their 30s and 50s, the women were taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The woman is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court later today.

A 35-year-old man has also been charged over the raid. He appeared before court yesterday.
