Rail delays after jeep crashes into level crossing barrier at Sandymount

Gardaí and Dublin Fire Brigade attended the crash. No-one was injured.

RAIL USERS IN the Dublin area were being advised to expect delays this evening after a jeep towing a trailer crashed into a level crossing barrier at Sandymount.

The incident happened at around 4.40pm this evening.

Gardaí were also advising motorists to expect traffic delays in the area as a result – but it’s reported the problem has now eased. Dublin Fire Brigade also attended the incident.

No-one was injured in the collision, Gardaí said.
