Rail services on Dublin-Belfast line suspended after person struck by train

Emergency services have arrived at the scene.

RAIL SERVICES HAVE been suspended in both directions to and from Skerries after a person was struck by train.

The suspension affects Belfast Enterprise and Drogheda services.

The incident happened around 7.30pm when the person was hit by the 7pm Connolly to Belfast train just outside Skerries.

The condition of the person is not yet known at this time.

A spokesperson for Irish Rail confirmed to TheJournal.ie that services were suspended at the moment. The line will be closed “for some time”.

Emergency services have arrived at the scene.
