Ireland, is that you under there?

Don’t forget that brolly when you leave this morning – no one is safe.

Met Éireann Met Éireann

WELL, THAT WAS a nice summer, wasn’t it?

Make sure you bring your umbrellas with you as you leave your homes this morning because the forecast is not pretty.

Met Éireann says it will be mostly cloudy today with occasional rain in all areas. At times the rain will be heavy and there is also a risk of thunder in some places.

Thankfully it will not be cold, with maximum temperatures reaching 18 degrees though it may be a little windy.

Later today it will be clearer but you can expect a few showers tonight. And don’t pack away the rain gear – though the weather should be mostly dry for the rest of the week we can expect more of those pesky scattered showers.

This has nothing to do with pat kenny , but everything to do with Irish water .. The govt are trained to do rain dances… Each raindrop equals 0.03 cent….

Look on the “bright”side? If you have a large water container, now I mean large, you could collect enough to water for the whole year. No need for IW your meter will tell them you used none!!!!!

We should try to enjoy the rain, seeing as we get so much. Wellies & rain coats the kids love it splashing in all the puddles! :-)

Don’t think splashing in puddles is any compensation for my 12 year old whose matches and training are constantly cancelled because of this abomination. They were looking forward to playing an important match away this morning.
