Ireland, is that you under there?

Don’t forget that brolly when you leave this morning – no one is safe.

Met Éireann Met Éireann

WELL, THAT WAS a nice summer, wasn’t it?

Make sure you bring your umbrellas with you as you leave your homes this morning because the forecast is not pretty.

Met Éireann says it will be mostly cloudy today with occasional rain in all areas. At times the rain will be heavy and there is also a risk of thunder in some places.

Thankfully it will not be cold, with maximum temperatures reaching 18 degrees though it may be a little windy.

Later today it will be clearer but you can expect a few showers tonight. And don’t pack away the rain gear – though the weather should be mostly dry for the rest of the week we can expect more of those pesky scattered showers.
