Rain has returned to some parts of Ireland

After weeks of dry, hot days, we’re back to “isolated showers” again.

RAIN, RAIN IS back today.

After a two-week long heatwave, that saw most of Ireland left without water, we’re getting a slight reprieve today in the form of drizzles and possible showers.

According to Met Éireann, cloud has moved over Ireland which will bring a little patchy rain or drizzle to some northern areas.

Elsewhere it will be mostly dry, with just an isolated shower.

The best of the sunshine today will be in the south and southeast.

Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees in many northern and western regions but elsewhere temperatures reaching 20 to 23 degrees, and it will be warmest in the south.

Tonight, there will be the odd spot of mist or drizzle, but again it will be mainly dry with lows of 11 to 15 degrees.

Tomorrow

According to Met Éireann, it will be mostly dry with some isolated showers.

“It will brighten up through the day with some sunny spells developing.

Highs of 17 to 19 in many northern and western regions but elsewhere temperatures reaching 20 to 23 degrees in light northerly or variable breezes.
