Yes, attractive man... It's raining. Now stop staring enigmatically at the sky and go about your business.

Weather warning: 'Very intense' rain, thundery downpours, spot flooding

If it hasn’t hit your area, don’t worry — it’s on the way.

IF YOU LIKE rain, you’re in luck.

There’ll be reams of the stuff around today.

Met Éireann have issued one of their weather warnings, meaning we’re in for pretty damp time of it between now and around 9pm tonight.

The ‘yellow alert’ is for “heavy thundery downpours” leading to “local spot flooding”.

There’ll also be “very intense” rainfall throughout the day (sounds interesting, maybe head for a walk on the beach with your partner?).

Looking ahead to the rest of the week… well, it’s best not to, really. More rain, essentially — a mix of “heavy showers”, “thundery showers”, “local downpours” and “torrential rain” (not all at the same time, though).

The worst of it will be on Thursday.
