Poll: Should people who share nude or sexual content of their exes online be jailed?

England, Wales and Scotland all have plans underway to deal with the issue.

“REVENGE PORN” –  when an ex-partner shares nude or sexual photos and videos of an ex online – is set to become an illegal offence in the UK, carrying a jail term of up to two years.

Legislation

While the Law Reform Commission is examining legislation surrounding  offences committed via the internet, which includes ‘revenge porn’ , there are no immediate plans to follow in the footsteps of England, Wales and Scotland.

In today’s poll, we want to know if you think it is something that Ireland should be introducing and whether people should go to jail for it.
