Woman killed and two teenagers injured in Kerry road accident

The incident occurred shortly after 9am this morning.

A WOMAN IN her 40s has been killed in a road accident in Tralee today.

Gardaí are investigating the fatal road traffic collision, which happened this morning shortly before 9am.

The single vehicle crash happened on the Ballyduff to Tralee road at Ballincosig Cross, Lixnaw, County Kerry.

Two teenage passengers were removed by ambulance to Tralee General Hospital. Their condition is not known.

The road at the scene of the crash is closed to facilitate an examination of the area by Garda forensic collision investigators.
