Two men die after crash between car and tractor in Co. Antrim

A third man in the car and the driver of the tractor were not seriously injured.

TWO 24-YEAR-OLD men have died after a crash between a car and a tractor in Co. Antrim yesterday evening.

The two men were travelling in a grey Fiat Punto along with a third 21-year-old man when the collision happened yesterday evening at the Ballyconnelly Road near Cullybackey.

The crash happened shortly after 8.15 pm when the car collided with a green and yellow John Deere tractor.

The driver of the tractor was treated at the scene for injuries that are not believed to be serious. The third man who was travelling in the Fiat Punto also sustained head injuries in the crash that are not thought to be life threatening.

Separately, the PSNI have said that 25-year-old Andrius Liberis who was involved in a two vehicle collision in  Loughgall, Co Armagh on Wednesday has died.
