Two men due in court over robbery and false imprisonment in Finglas

The men were arrested yesterday and were held by gardaí overnight.

TWO MEN WILL appear in court tomorrow in connection with an alleged robbery and false imprisonment in Finglas yesterday.

A 32-year-old man was ordered to get into a van after he was robbed as he walked home from work on main street in Finglas at around 1.40am. His mobile phone and wallet were taken and two men in the van then ordered him to get into the vehicle.

The men, both aged in their 20s, were arrested at the scene and the stolen items were recovered.

The arrested men are scheduled to appear before Court 2 at the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30am tomorrow morning charged in connection with the incident.
