Gardaí probe sudden death of woman found in Roscommon caravan

The woman was found this morning at about 6am.

GARDAÍ IN ROSCOMMON are investigating the sudden death of a woman found dead in a caravan this morning.

The woman, who was in her 20s, was found unresponsive at about 6am in the Drummad area near Loughlynn.

Emergency services were called to the scene and the woman was pronounced dead. She was then removed to University Hospital Galway.

Gardaí say they are treating the incident as a sudden death and will wait on the preliminary results from a post-mortem before determining the direction of their investigation.
